The Football for Humanity Story
In 2014, the founder of Football for Humanity arrived in the Philippines in response to Typhoon Yolanda, one of the most devastating typhoons ever recorded. He lived in the Pacific Ring of Fire and the typhoon belt, regions where disasters struck without warning. What began as a short visit became a decade of engagement on the front lines in high risk, life threatening environments. Navigating dangerous and unstable areas, he provided urgent support and protection to children and communities facing pressing threats.
Out of these lived experiences, Football for Humanity was born, a survivor founded organisation transforming football into a lifeline. What began as an act of kindness has grown into a global movement, working alongside communities, governments, and international organisations to restore dignity, strengthen resilience, and create lasting opportunities for all.
